Nike Vandal Sample LE Black/Metallic Summit

A new pair of Nike Vandal Samples have hit Ebay, but for now no one if for sure if this pair will release. Featuring patent leather throughout the Vandals, when the light hits them right an array of colors appear kind of like fish scales. The upper part contains White lining, Grey on the toe box and sides, and a orange sole.

Nike Major Taylor Pack

A few weeks back we posted a pic of the Air Max 90’s, but we didn’t know when they would release. Well the AM90 is part of the “Major Taylor” pack which is made up of an AM90, Dunk High, and Blazer Hi. All three pairs feature voltage yellow and umber. Who is Major Taylor? He was an african american cyclist who won the “World One Mile” track cycling championship for three consecutive years; 1899, 1900, and 1901. He use to wear a military uniform while performing stunts, and he was later nicknamed “Major”. The insoles on the AM90 feature “1896″ and the #13 along with other artwork. 1896 represents the the year he entered his first professional race in Madison Square Garden, and Taylor lapped the entire field during the half race. Without a doubt Major Taylor is a legend in both black history and cycle racing. The pack sould be available at your local Nike retailers now or very soon

Nike Air Max 90 Womens-2 New Colorways

Nike just dropped two new colorways of the Air Max 90 for the ladies. One pair features white, laser blue, and a striped cotton material. The other pair comes with a solid royal blue midsole, white upper, and red accents. Both pairs will make great Summer kicks and both AM90’s provide refreshing colorways. Laser Blue looks good almost any shoe, and you can never go wrong with white/red/blue. They are now available, so if you like what you see contact your local Nike retailers.

Nike Air 89 Flight-Marine/Bright Cactus

The 89 Flight is considered to be a Nike classic, and since their debut in 1989 Nike has produced a boat load of colorways. It seems as if the bright cactus green is Nike’s signature Summer 07 color. They have used bright cactus a several models this Summer including the Air Stab, Air Assualt Low, Trainer Huarache, 2 Air Max 90’s, and now the 89 Flight gets bright cactus treatment. The 89 Flight comes with bright cactus, but Nike didn’t use that much, instead they used mainly dark blue and patent leather. They only used a touch of bright cactus and a metallic silver swoosh. Be on the look out for these to hit a store near you soon, and they may already be available at some stores.

Nike Dunk High "Marble Notebook" of the Back to School Pack

Bringing our coverage of Nike's Back to School Pack to a close, we take a look at the final piece of the pack, the Nike Dunk High Premium QS "Marble Nikebook". Like the "Crayola" Vandal High and the "Elmer's Glue" Air Max 90, the Nike Dunk High Premium "Marble Nikebooks" take their inspiration from a School accessory, in this case, the classic Marble Composition Notebook. The "Marble Nikebook" Dunk Highs feature a Black leather/Marble (marble notebook) upper with a ruled paper print behind the swoosh and a "Nikebook" Cover logo, very similar to the cover of a Marble Notebook, on the outer heel. The Nike "Back to School" Pack, including the "Marble Nikebooks", is a Quickstrike release available to Nike Quickstrike accounts. Nike Vandal High "Crayola Crayons" of the Back to School Pack

Continuing our coverage of Nike's "Back to School" Pack, we take a look at the Nike Vandal High QS "Crayola". As such, the "Crayola" Vandal Highs feature a Green Nubuck/Yellow Leather upper, White Piping/Swoosh/midsole, an embroidered school house on the heel tab, and like the "Elmers Glue" 90s, the "Cryaola" Vandal Highs also have a school house on the tongue tab. The "Crayola" Nike Vandal Highs are a Quickstrike release and are/will be available very soon at Nike Quickstrike accounts.

Nike Vandal High-Grey/Khaki/Lime

Taking it back to the vintage stakes, this Nike Vandal has all the attributes of the originals that came out back in 1985. It was one of the first and only shoes to have a full nylon upper, and these Vandals stay true to form with a quilted like burnt grey upper, accented with a khaki and lime lace fade not to mention the ever fresh lime splice sole. Its nice to see Nike paying homage to the original form of the shoe, much like that of the vintage nike running shoes featured in the new release section back in April.

Nike Trainer Huarache-Varsity Red/Orange/Lime/Black

Yay, the Huarache is back! And better than ever. This huarache comes as part of a pack featuring the Dunk High, Air Tech Challenge and Air Max Light all of which will be well sort after by hypebeasts and sneaker lovers around the globe. Featuring the running colourway theme of Varsity Red/Black/Orange/White and Lime, this is definitely a favourite around the office, and luckily (or unluckily) we were only given the one shoe. People always talk about the heat on your feet, now you can look like you have the flames coming straight from your toes with this crisp hot looking shoe. Stay tuned for more info on release dates of this awesome pack.

Nike Air CB34 Godzilla Retro Catalog Pictures

Lately, it has been difficult to find a Original pair of Nike Air CB34 on Ebay, that is not fake. Coming soon we will not have to wait anymore, since two color ways have been confirmed to release. The Black and Purple pair we have seen in the past, but this is the first time for the Black and Red. Some of you might remember why the Nike Air CB34 is nicknamed Godzilla, for those of you that don’t, Nikes marketing campaign was Sir Charles going against Godzilla. If you have not seen any commercials, visit Youtube. A release Date has not been issued yet, but when one is available we will post it.

2 Nike Zoom Air Dunkesto's

The Nike Zoom Air Dunkesto came about as a hybrid that combines the style and shape of the Nike Dunk with the flexibility of the Nike Presto. These two shoes seem to be a hybrid of a Dunkesto and a tapestry painting that has been hanging on the walls of any European house in Australia! And I believe that this is a shoe made for guys, even though it looks as if it is more catered to the ladies, with its very feminine colourway and textures. We here at the Sneaker Freaker office seem to be in two minds about this shoe, and it seems that Nike may have missed the mark on this sneaker although the translucent ankle straps are a good start. I can't see any skaters wanting to kick, push on their board with this, but different strokes for different folks!

Nike Blazer Anthracite/Birch/White

Nike Dunk High Red/Orange/Black/Lime

What did we tell you about Nike and this new obsession with mix matching bright and dull colours to create a knock out shoe to liven up any proddy you wear? The good folks at Nike have given us kids that like matching our outfits perfectly to our shoe, a lot of room for thought. Starting with the blazing orange back and toe panels set against the stark black upper and then pimped with the bright lime nike swoosh and laces this dunk high is going to be very popular with the all over print hoody kids and methinks these would be best set off by a pair of tight tight skinny black jeans. Scenesters and rockers will love this shoe. Its also part of a pack with the Air Tech Challenge, Air Max Light and Trainer Huarache.

HUF x Nike Earthquake Air Max 1 & Air Max 90

Huf and Nike are still busy hustling crack. Late last year, we saw the release of the “Hufquake” Air Force Ones and Dunks that was done to mark the 100th anniversary of the earthquake that crippled San Francisco in 1906.

This time around, Nike and Huf add some of the crackle print to a pair of Air Maxes. Hopefully this time around, these “crack” Air Maxes wont crack like the last HUF Air Max 90s did.

Air Jordan 11 Low LE “Azure”

With the release of the Air Jordan 8 quickly approaching, it seems like there has been a lot less talk about other Air Jordans coming out for the next couple of months. The Jordan 11 low le has been a sluggish seller (again) and it seems like many heads are saving their dough for a second pair of Air Jordans to release in the future or are spending their cash on other kicks.

This colorway has been the least talked about of all of the Jordan 11 Lows but is one of the more unique ones. The sole has a “mint tint” and accents of maize on the upper. These are a lifestyle release so no need to worry about finding something to match - Jordan has you covered.

Fat Joe's Air Jordan 4 PE's

Fat Joe made an appearance strolling through wearing a pair of Jordans that no one could touch. As usual, Fat Joe crushed everyone with some exclusive sneakers.
With a little help from Derek Anderson, aka Da Loyal 1, Joe had some white/red Jordan 4 PEs that were new to everyone in attendance. On top of the beautiful colorway, the shoes were lasered just for Joe with a touch of love from Miami.

Nike Retro August and September 2007 Preview

The summer will be winding before we want it to, but at least that mean that the heat won’t stop coming in the form of sneakers.

Nike Retro division has two runs of kicks that got our attention while looking through the catalogs. The first (top row) is part of the August Urbano line. Its been a minute since we have seen the Air Flight 89s and with patent leather, this one is a wrap. The Air Max 90s and Vandal Lows aren’t award winners, but still finish off the trio in a nice way.

The bottom row is known as the “purple pack” for obvious reasons. Now don’t be surprised if you run into someone from Houston claiming that the Bayou city is behind the new trend of purple, but wherever the designers at Nike got the inspiration, we couldn’t care less as long as they come in our size.

Nike Air Force 1 Premium "Japan"

It’s all about the “World Tour” pack when talking about AF1’s. Japan’s series is set to release next Saturday (July 21st) in regular, premium, and supreme cores. Today we give you a up close look at the premuim edition of the Japan AF1. They are done up with a woven upper which gives off a nice shine with a solid purple midsole to top it off. Even though it’s no use of laser blue accents or trim Nike decided to bless them with laser blue laces. The laser blue laces works magic on these AF1’s, and they look even better in person. Available next Saturday for all AF1 fans/collectors, ticket price of $125.

Nike Air Max Light Academy Blue

As part of their "Academy Blue" Pack, which also features a Nike Air Assault Low and a Nike Air Stab, Nike recently released the "Academy Blue" Air Max Light. The "Academy Blue" Nike Air Max Lights feature a White Leather/Academy Blue Suede/Zest (Yellow) Mesh upper with a Zest Mesh toebox. This upper sits on a White midsole, an Academy Blue Visible Air Unit, and an Academy Blue outsole. The "Academy Blue" Nike Air Max Lights are available now at Nike accounts.

Nike Air Flight 89 White Metallic Silver

Just in time for the record breaking heat of the Mid-Summer, Nike recently released a White based version of their classic late 80s Basketball style, the Flight 89. The "White/Metallic Silver" Nike Air Flight 89s feature a soft White Leather upper with a Metallic Silver Swoosh and a Black trim. The classic "Flight" script is embroidered in Metallic Silver on the tongue. The "White/Metallic Silver" Nike Air Flight 89s are available now at Nike Accounts.

Air Jordan Spizike Black Cat Catalog Picture

Kind of surprised to see this new model of the Air Jordan Spizike which is all Black, and already dubbed the the Air Jordan Spizike Black Cats. Although the picture is blurry we can make out the color scheme. The release date is August 18th 2007, the same day as the Air Jordan Spizike Kings County. Some people dislike the Black Cat release from Jordan Brand but they do match well. No confirmation if a Air Jordan Spizike “Pures” will release, but we will definitley have pictures if so.

2 Upcoming SB Releases

Here is a preview of two new Nike Dunk SBs High and Low. We have seen the Nike SB Dunk High Croc model, but this pair of Nike Dunk SB Lows that represent a skate shop in Japan is a first time preview. Both pairs are very nice while the Dunk Croc SB Highs consist of a crocodile texture toe box and at the heel, and the Dunk SB Lows feature a nice laser design at the heel. The Croc Dunk SB Highs will drop in 2008.

The Zoom Air technology has been around for the last 10 years and has been used in sneakers such as the Zoom Flight 95 and Zoom Flight 96. Up until now, no other Nike sneaker has been comparable for it’s anti-shock feature. But now Nike has once again upgraded this technology which will be featured in these new sneakers.

The colors palettes of these shoes are taken from the 80’s commercials but now the shoes are now improved with new Zoom Air technology. The new models which are coming out will include Nike Zoom BB, Air Zoom Autoclave Bball, Nike Zoom TR, and the Air Zoom Autoclave TR. Look for these to drop in the coming future.

Nike Dunk High Santa Muerte

One of the most creative Nike Dunk Highs I have seen in a while is created by Santa Muerte. This pair of Nike Dunk highs were actually created with a hand made tooling leather, but looks like they have been lasered. To finish this pair off, Santa Muerte added horse hair on the side panel and toe box.

Nike Members Only Store "Innovative Kitchen" Dunk Low

Freshness reports about a new section in the Members Only Store by Nike that will be called innovation Kitchen, named after the same devision at Nike.

"In the upcoming days, NikeStore.com will be launching a section to the Members Only Store called the ‘Innovation Kitchen’, named after the the special group at Nike’s Campus devoted to innovation in products and development. The digital iK will sell exclusive products coming directly from the group in Beaverton, OR. The first product will be this premium Dunk Low in patent Leather with lasered details. The official name is the Tuxedo Dunk which is inspired by patent leather shoes usually worn by grooms. The interior features premium leather lining and insole. There will be very limited numbers available, only sizes 4-14, in whole sizes and a portion of every purchase goes toward research and development in Nike’s Innovation Kitchen."

Hopefully more interesting products such as this Tuxedo Dunk Lo will be the result of this. Also if they already offer such specials to a large audience, we can probably expect even more impressive sneakers in the Tier 1 and Tier 0 ranges.

Air Jordan Flight 23 (Team Model) Preview

Another new team Air Jordan model which has taken inspiration from the Jordan IV is the Air Jordan Flight 23. Overall they look pretty light weight, and more than likely will be a great sneaker to ball in. Some of the pairs are also inspired by other Jordans that have released, like the Jordan VIII. We have three color ways pictured, but I am sure you can expect more to release in 2008.

Nike Air Force One X Air Jordan XII "AJF"

We have been sitting on the info about these shoes for a while, but finally someone posted a photo online.

In 2008, there will be NO Lifestyle retro Jordans - NONE. Jordan Lifestyle will have many shoes including these which are somewhat of a response to the “Jordan Dunks” that Nike put out in the past year. There are several Jordan x AF1 mids that will be releasing next year as Jordan Brand celebrates the 23rd year. So far we know of these as well as an Air Jordan 5 x Air Force 1 Mid. The shape of the shoe is just like the AF1 mid including the strap as well as the outsole.

Hate it or love it, I can see people going after these shoes. Call me a purist, but I want to torch Toyota for making hybrids “cool”.

It is a long time until 2008 and if you feel any strong emotions against this shoe or for this shoe, please leave comments. I really think JB needs to hear the word from the streets on these shoes.

Nike Air Max 90 Textile

In addition to the recently released Nike Court Force High "Textile", Nike is set to release an Air Max 90 featuring the eclectic material mix. Like the CF Highs, the 90s feature an subdued mixture of Canvas, Suede, Plaid, and Perforated Leather. To add some flavor to the dim colored mix, the "Textile" 90s feature Bright Orange color pops in the Visibile Air Unit and on the Tongue. The Nike Air Max 90 "Textiles" are available now.

Nike Dunk Low Womens Pink Dolka Dots

An odd looking dunk for the ladies has made it's way to Sneaker Freaker HQ. An almost entirely seamless upper consists of hole punched patent leather with a ruddy pink leather lining. Most of the upper detail that signifies a dunk is not present however the shoe still maintains dunk form without the usual support from panels. In general we prefer finer perforations, holes this big come dangerously close to the fugliness of Crocs!

Nike Air Max 1 and Court Force Hi "Red Plaid"

Red plaid, flannelette or lumberjack as it's fondly known as, has always been reserved for the outdoors type alongside some other stereotypes we won't name. Like all things sacred, fashionista irony wraps it's grubby little hands on these garment styles and popularises the look. Most of the big street brands have been dabbling with the plaid look in response to the growing trend and now both Nike and Reebok have incorporated the materials into their range.

For the gentleman who coordinates outfits, these could be the final piece of the attire puzzle! The plaid actually works quite well and it's nice to see that Nike used more on the outside of the shoe as opposed to Reebok's incarnation.

Once Nike signed Charles Barkley in the early 90’s he was seen in; Air Alpha Force II, Air Force 180, Air Force Max, Air Force Max CB, Air Max2 CB 94, Air CB 34 (Godzilla), Air CB34, Air CB4, Air Super CB, and the Air CB4 II. Yes indeed Sir Charles signture line gave birth to several classics. In 2008 Nike the Air Force Max CB will return in a new colorway. Original colors were black/white, white/blue, and the most popular black/blue/white. The Air Force Max CB originally dropped in 1993. They feature a cross strap similar to the Air Carnivore and the Air Unlimited with the #34 on the back pull tab. We can’t tell if they will release in 08 with the #34 on the back tab, but they will drop in a new black/red/white colorway in Spring 2008.
